Frequently Asked Questions
Will the fields still be editable after I download?
Yes. The tool fills the existing AcroForm fields instead of flattening them, so the recipient can still edit the answers in a PDF viewer. Use the Flatten PDF tool later if you need a fixed copy.
Why does my PDF show no fillable fields?
The document may be a scan, a flat PDF, or an XFA form. AcroForm fields are supported; XFA and scanned pages are not. You can still sign a scanned PDF with the Sign PDF tool.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The form is read, filled and saved inside your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
Which languages can I type into a form?
Text fields use bundled fonts for Latin, Greek, Cyrillic and Arabic, including mixed Arabic and Latin values. Hebrew, Indic scripts, Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Korean are not embedded yet, so the tool shows a clear message instead of printing empty boxes.
